Anyhoo the moral is when a product goes end of life the vulnerabilities don’t stop, vendors just stop listing the products as vulnerable and your vuln scanners likely do, too.

@Microsoft's fault. An advisory needs to list all vulnerable products/versions, whether there will be a patch forthcoming or not is immaterial, older unmaintained versions MUST be included in the advisory. -
They’ve never done that.
