It’s taught me to be less verbose. Yes, I still suck at that, but I’m better. Less is usually more when communicating.

It’s taught me to share. Sometimes people are scared to talk about mental health, physical health, their work etc. I over share here on purpose. I believe people should talk about their life and work more, as it connects us.

Mostly, it’s taught me to try to let go of my ego and have fun. When you boil life down it’s a... really painful, kinda stupid and very ridiculous. You get to watch everybody and everything you love die, then you die. Everybody here is experiencing that pain. Be kind.

This is such a lovely thread. I found twitter horrible at first, but after being selective with follows (and mute) I find it a really inspiring and supportive place. In the last week especially so. Thank you for your support with that. I’m going to bookmark this so I can reread.
