@Stormclaw I got an answer from @GooglePlayMusic this time... but it was just a link about syncing devices? Not what I was on about, so will continue to follow up... #frustrating
Any changes (add, remove, reorder and rename) in your playlist syncs automatically across devices. This is to make sure you can access your playlist form any supported device while sign in to your account.

This never used to happen. I mostly use a PC. So it has started since I synced my phone? If so, thank you. That makes sense. But extremely annoying way to do it. You lose where you are in list and it defaults back to order.
