I really love Google @GooglePlayMusic too bad I can't use it when I'm working with my kids, because no matter how many times I set "Block Explicit songs in radio" it constantly plays things I can't play around my students. And they don't seen to be able to fix it.
That's definitely odd behavior! Just to clarify, have you tried clearing the app's cache: Settings > Apps > Google Play Music > Storage > Clear cache > Restart? Keep us posted.

I have. Talked to your support team 3 or 4 times, that's usually the first suggestion they give, although I'm almost always chromecasting from a Chrome browser.
