I know it’s not a standard problem that you can look at a troubleshooting list and find steps to a solution.
You are the info retrieval company though. Can we find a way to fix the bug here?
Just to confirm, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Note - this will delete your saved offline music. Let us know if that works!

I’m not given an option to delete it, only to disable it (and then I’m asked if I want the factory default).

And no, disabling and enabling it did not fix the problem.
