@GooglePlayMusic is the app getting updated any time soon? It's quite broken when trying to play podcasts :/
Hi there. Try clearing the app's cache: Settings>Apps>Google Play Music>Storage>Clear cache>Restart device. Keep us posted.

or randomly, I'll press pause, and the podcast keeps playing. And the only way to turn it off is to kill the app

I meant overall functionality. If I lose reception for a min, hit pause, then press play, it'll skip back a few mins
