@GooglePlayMusic any way to add my ENTIRE music collection, including all subfolders, not just the tracks in the root folder?

Do I need to keep the Chrome window open as my songs upload to Play Music? Or will the app run in the background?

It appears the process has been stuck at 402/3411 for hours now. I'd seen poor reviews mentioning as much on the Web Store.

Clicked the uploading icon, it's updated to 467 of 3411. But still, it should be much higher than that, w/ 10 mbps upload.
