Can I still play my songs at the quality they were originally saved? And, will those songs be able to continue playing once I close out of the app?

When you're subscribed to YouTube or YT Music Premium, background play will let you listen to songs while using other apps. Also, the bitrate setting in YTM is automatically set to Normal, but you can change the quality from Low to Always High. More here: http://yt.be/help/cvGA
