@GooglePlayMusic With your recent announcement of shutting down what was one of Google's good products to migrate to @youtubemusic, will there still be a way to directly purchase music and download them for our own offline consumption like we can currently with @GooglePlay ?
Thanks for reaching out – you won't be able to purchase music directly from the YouTube Music app. But, you can buy songs from other sites and upload them to YT Music. In this way, you'll have your entire library in one place. Let us know if you have any other questions.

@GooglePlay 's Music section won't be available anymore after the transition is completed? (sorry for poking, but it's not entirely clear what the transition/migration will have and not have) -
Google Play Music will be going away later this year and we’ll give you plenty of notice before it happens! In the meantime, you will not lose access and can continue to use Google Play Music to listen to and discover music!
