@GooglePlayMusic your help and feedback section sends me wont let me contact you so I'm trying here. When I close the app the music keeps playing, any settings I should change?

If I pause the music it will stop but if I dont and just close the app directly it keeps playing. I realise pausing it may be the answer but it's frustrating that it keeps going if the app has been closed.
Sorry for the frustration – there's currently no way to disable our background play feature. Pausing/stopping the song before exiting the app is the only workaround for this. We recommend sharing your thoughts/request with our product team, just tap on ☰ > Help & feedback.

How is this a feature though? Why would anyone want the music to keep playing if they intentionally close the app down to stop the music and app?
