Jumping in to clarify – if you use Safari, Internet Explorer, or Firefox, you can download a song to your computer two times. When you use Google Play Music for Chrome or Music Manager, you can download to your computer an unlimited number of times. Hope that helps!

Surely that helps but a little left to clarify. 1) Downloading from the app primarily. ½) If I don't continue or renew then what happens to my offline downloaded songs? I'm musically inclined per se and your support is darn important for me. Thank you.

All songs downloaded from the app will be gone along with its expiration, or when you clear your cache, because it is considered as app data. However, anything downloaded via desktop will remain as an audio file – which you can keep as long as you'd like: https://yt.be/help/8iXb
