If @GooglePlayMusic doesn't stop randomly deleting albums I have downloaded, I'm killing my subscription and going back to pirating music.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble – have you tried refreshing your music library when this happens? Just tap Menu > Settings > Refresh. Also, make sure that you're running the latest version of the app. Let us know if that helps.

And some albums I had downloaded to my phone are now missing from the store so I can't even download them again which is extra frustrating.
