I'm positively surprised you monitor twitter. The issue is several years old and no thread says it was fixed: At some random points in time, the android GPM app will redownload all offline songs. There's no reason to do so - the songs are still there

It has not happened since I got a new external SD card apart from when I was setting it up. So, actually no issues since I tweeted at you :D
