@GooglePlayMusic @googledevs @Google any plans to recreate or change your app? It really needs an updated UI... It also needs a dark mode and customization options.
Thanks for the UI feedback – we'll be sure to forward this to our product team. Also, as we’ve announced in the past, Google Play Music will eventually be replaced with YouTube Music which has dark theme by default, so if you haven't already, we recommend that you give it a go!

Can I download music with YouTube music? Will my music downloads be transferred? I just think when it comes UI it's being beat by Spotify. Theirs is fluid but no longer organized like it used to be. Thank you!

If you're a YouTube Music Premium member, you can download and listen to music offline. Learn more about it here: http://yt.be/help/uqs6 . Also, we are still working on a way to migrate your entire library (and other features) in YouTube Music. Stay tuned for more updates!
