@GooglePlayMusic @youtubemusic Are you aware that there's a glitch where users not connected to a WiFi network have to go to Downloads to play music?

@GooglePlayMusic @youtubemusic It's as though in order for me to play downloaded music from Recents, Artists, Stations, Playlists, or Albums, I have too have a data or WiFi connection first. That's an inconvenience when riding a subway train.

Just to confirm – music can be downloaded to your Music library (while connected to the internet), and listen to them offline without an internet connection. More here: http://yt.be/help/Hphw . Hope this helps clarify!

Hi. I understand that. The issue I'm having is that my offline music is inaccessible when I'm on a subway train where there's no data or Wi-Fi connection. When I don't have a data or Wi-Fi connection, I can only access my offline music from the Downloads folder.

Have you tried checking if the "Downloaded only" option is enabled? Just tap the ☰ icon > Downloaded only. Also, you can try refreshing your library and see if it'll do the trick. Let us know how it goes.
