@GooglePlayMusic my phone just did a long download for Play Music that wasn't done through the Play Store. What was that for?

This update was not from the a Play Store. When I opened the Play Store it did not show the update in there and it says the last update date was in August.
Updates from us only come from the Play Store and auto-playlists are created when you tap on the thumbs up button or you added a song in your library. If these two don't apply, you may want to check your phone for any malicious apps that may trigger such unintended updates.
