@GooglePlayMusic can't play any music that isn't already downloaded to my phone. Is there a way to check if the service is working right?
We'd like to help. Do you see any error message while you are trying to play music? Could you try refreshing your music library: Google Play Music > Menu > Settings > Refresh > Restart? Let us know if this helps.

Tried resetting library per instructions and no help. I can load other sites and apps no problem: YouTube, Netflix, speedtests

No error message, it just spins trying to load the song and eventually goes to the next and repeats. For playlists where some music is local, it plays those songs normally (with a lot of silence while it tries to load other songs).
