@GooglePlayMusic Hello I have a bug where the app is showing cover art that shouldn't exist. The image shown does not exist in the directory and the audio files have all been scrubbed. The metadata points to the correct image, not the one shown. Any idea?

Sorry I should have mentioned, these are local files and on a microSD card. The image being shown as the album cover isn't on the card and isn't linked as the album art by the metadata of any of the individual song files. I can follow-up with a screenshot if that would help.
Thanks for the info. The above mention steps work only on Google Play Music web version, however your music's metadata syncs across devices. So you can try those steps. Also, you can reach out to a specialist for help: https://goo.gl/k26qsN . Hope this gets resolved.

What worked was clearing the album artwork cache under Android\data\http://com.android.providers.media \Albumthumbs then power cycling the device. Thanks for responding.
