Was using google play music because spotify couldn't stream random daft punk songs a few years ago. Today, every song is buffering poorly on google play. Should I just be buying MP3s?!
That's not good. We'd love to see what we can do to fix that for you, what device/browser are you using? Does this happen across devices? Keep us posted.

Chrome, Desktop PC, Windows 10, Seattle WA (I assume proximity based servers are utilized?). In the last 4 hours, songs would take 20 seconds to 3 minutes to start playing and then cut out randomly to buffer again. Internet has been very stable.

Thanks for the info. Try signing out and signing back in to the account. Here's how: ☰ Menu > Settings > Sign out. Does that help?
