I did both a call and a chat and the only answer is that this is a product decision for India that support cannot fix.
Could you also share it with our product team here: Google Play Music > Menu > Send feedback? It helps us look into all reports and fix issues as well as prioritize requests.

You're welcome, Kiran. While our product team looks into this issue, it's a good idea to check if you've signed in using the same account which has a Google Play Music subscription. Hope this gets resolve soon.
