@GooglePlayMusic all of a sudden none of my music is in the app. It's in my SD card, still loaded on my phone. I can still go through my files find a song and play with Google Play Music, but I don't understand why I can't just open the app and have the songs be there anymore
That's strange! Try remounting your SD card with these steps: Go to your device Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card. Remove your micro SD card from your device, then put it back in and restart. Let us know if that helps.

Just to clarify, have you tried refreshing your music library: Google Play Music > Menu > Settings > Refresh? Keep us posted
