A brand new, modern, GoodNotes version including many new features and improvements like vertical scrolling, folders, and global search.

A free/discounted upgrade will be available for GoodNotes 4 customers later today through the “GoodNotes 5 Upgrade Bundle”. We’re currently waiting for Apple to accept the bundle and clear it for sale and we’ll keep you updated.
We just received some news from Apple that the bundle apparently has been approved already but is still showing with the status “In Review” in our system. They’re investigating it right now so we hope the bundle will become available very soon.

The App Review team responsible for clearing the bundle for sale is based in California where it is 6:45 am right now so we’re hoping to get an update within the next 3-4 hours and will share it here as soon as we hear something.

Update on the bundle: We still don’t see any change on the bundle in our developer console despite having the information that the right team is looking into fixing the issue already. We’ll keep you updated.

It will display the price you will still need to pay for GoodNotes 5 (either free or a discounted price) based on what you paid for GoodNotes 4. If you paid the full price (current price) for 4, then you can upgrade for free. Details: support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/artic

The button next to “Complete My Bundle” at the top will either say “Complete” - meaning it is a free upgrade - or display the price you will have to pay to get GoodNotes 5 based on what you paid for GoodNotes 4 back then. The price next to GoodNotes 5 is the individual app price.

Yes. GoodNotes will suggest the most convenient way for you. If you’re using iCloud, it will be fully automatically and you can already use the new app.
