    Swedish government announced today that reversed auctions for carbon removal will start in 2022 🇸🇪. Most likely aiming at 2 MT/year by 2030. 5 MT/year in the EU, as proposed by the yesterday, feels a bit low 🇪🇺. But I like the trend of Daily announcements.

    The is proposing a goal for carbon removal from the atmosphere with permanent storage by 2030. Is that the first explicit permanent carbon removal goal in the world?
