I love reserved list arguments because nobody understands the underlying problems with abolishing the reserved list, why Legacy is bullshit, and how simple the problem is to fix without breaking the reserved list.

While they -can- print hexproof duals, Legendary and Snow duals wouldn't work as supertypes aren't considered in determining "functionally identical". They've also low-key stopped making new, almost-functionally-identical/better cards (e.g. Revererate).
You're getting bogged down in the specifics rather than the essence of the point. Wizards CAN print AROUND the reserved list rather than breaking it. If it comes down to "printing money" they have options that don't break the only promise they've ever made.
