This takes me back to my excitement when I opened a Mox Diamond back in the day. Another kid in the store offerened me $20 for it on the spot. I accepted - that was infinity dollars when I was 14.
I remember opening Mox Diamond / Time Warp at the Stronghold prerelease. Had to conspire with the people sitting around me to allow me to not pass my sealed pool... then obviously both cards got stolen later while trading.

My collection got stolen too when I was younger. Now it’ll self destruct before that happens again

Yup. It's why I quit playing Magic for so long (that and wasting money on Fallen Empires BOXES when I was like 12 or 13 and worked all summer doing lawns saving for it)
