Wizards COULD break the only promise they've ever made, but they have no real incentive to do it until Magic is dying and they're fine with one last cash grab. We're not there yet.
This hardly ever happens. Games in Legacy go to turns 3-8 a fair bit, because of Force of Will, strong discard to strip that, good disruption. Now, should Wizards reprint everything? No. But simply taking the _lands_ off the Reserved List _in a supplemental_, would help a ton.
