Eye of Ugin is a flat discount on all Eldrazi... can add 10+ "mana" in a turn. Cloudpost is like Tron except glimmerpost exists and gains tons of life and you don't have to create a unique set. Neither of these are Tron

I figured that out on account of them not having the word Urza’s in their type line.

When you cast Ulamog off of two Towers, a Power Plant and a Mine on T4, how is that not a 6-mana discount? No amount of Eye of Ugins would let you do the same.

With Eye: Eldrazi Mimic costs 0. Matter Reshaper costs 1. Thought-Knot costs 2. Play multiple cards in one turn for cumulative discount.

Surely you recognize that they’re both the same class of cards? They let you cast cards well ahead of where they were designed.

Let me ask if this way. If Karn Liberated cost GGG and Ulamog cost GGGG, would you find them to be fair threats?
