So after putting a Dinosaur commander deck together, and finally getting most of the pieces, I goldfished a few draws and I've learned one thing: it's God-awful. Maybe my childlike enthusiasm got out in front of me on this one.

You've just hit upon my tremendous fear of building a new Commander deck - it's time consuming, expensive, and results not guaranteed.
Typically I just start with a Commander I like and tune from there using cards I already have, this was the first time I started acquiring cards before everything was out

I guess I haven't found another theme I want to construct around. I have Slivers and Mill, and may finish this Oloro deck when I decide I'm tired of having friends.
