Can anyone explain to me why Bitcoin is important to me if I don't need to launder money, buy drugs online, or get my wealth out of a country that won't let me export / invest internationally?

Bitcoin may not be the future but blockchain is. Right now there is a war between bitcoin and bitcoin cash bc the people behind cash want more centralization. The idea is out there and there are other currencies based on 100% decentralized tech.
