Every time I hear people talking about Too Many Bones, I wish I had backed the kickstarter. Still want to demo the game this year some time.

yeah. I haven't looked into the actual mechanisms yet. I remember it being pretty odd when I first researched it.
Basically it's a convoluted dice system that is unique to each character combined with a "chose your own adventure" book
