Any gearheads? Mechanic "cleared the codes" on a check engine light and now the car won't start... how the hell does that work?

Make sure you're battery is connected. That's how my mechanic told me to reset the check engine list.

Do you hear the starter turn over at all? Or when you turn the key there's nothing? If 2nd, def check battery.
