@VorthosMike digital is part of it, but even Lorwyn felt like Modern Magic art design compared to these (Heath, Strands, Foothills)

@GoingMadlem it's the plastic feel, I'd argue. When digital gets sunshine, it can be wonky when we had shadow shadow darkness. -
@VorthosMike probably part of it, partly poor artist choices, Theros was lots of sunshine and didn't come off cartoony
