@MeditronS was the most diverse and inventive format I've ever seen ... something like 30+ distinctly different competitive decks

@GoingMadlem I only recall Faeries, Jund, and 5cc being the actually competitive ones

@MeditronS Jund was tier three before Reborn / Zendikar

@GoingMadlem reborn was part of lorwyn standard, I mean realistically faeries was the "real" deck 5cc was my personal bias.

@MeditronS are you denying the existence of literally dozens of other unique decks that won / top 8'd large tournaments?

@GoingMadlem not denying they "existed" denying they were actually "competitive". faeries strangled that format much like cawblade did later

@MeditronS so your argument is that if a two color deck hadn't been good, 5cc deck would have been king ... so we should not allow 5cc again

@GoingMadlem no, my argument is had faeries not been so oppressively degenerate 5cc would've wrecked the format.this format has no "faeries"
