50% of the time they'll leave with nothing and go to Target or some shit and just buy a random thing off the shelf that isn't even really a game... and people never learn that board games can actually be really fucking cool.

One of the highlights of running a game store during the Holidays is people asking for recommendations, you fucking nail exactly what they're asking for based on years of experience and advanced knowledge of the products you carry and they look at you like you're lying to them.

I've done some of this and can totally get it. For what it's worth, I always ask the people at the game store for recommendations and I often leave with their advice.
