3 slots are dedicated to etched foils, 2 slots for legendary creatures, that's 1/3rd of the pack being dedicated to 1/100th of a commander deck. I want cool versions of cards for my commander decks, not more commanders.
The etched foils look like trash, and with three per pack they aren't special feeling at all. Getting your favorite commander should feel special... but opening a box of this i now have over 65 commanders in various versions, one of which I'll actually use.
Conversely, I opened 0 of the rares / mythics i wanted for my various decks because so much focus was put on the Commander element of this. We can pretend "it's for the draft format" but you use 20 card packs for that normally... so go ahead and walk that one back.
"Project Booster Fun" missed the mark on this one by a mile on this one, luckily I can still buy Zendikar Rising boosters as a pallet cleanser to get the taste of mediocrity out of my mouth.
Try harder @wizards_magic , these are a step in the wrong direction
And this is all my opinion, the "financial value" will work out the same because that's how pricing works in this game... it's just the first Collector's boosters that I didn't enjoy opening and won't be buying any more of.
