My dad lived and died in Florida, I live in Indiana He had three cats, which his live-in girlfriend cannot keep They're older cats so the humane society won't take them because they're unadoptable and the girlfriend is basically unable to use technology Anyone have any ideas?

Please keep us posted on how things turn out. I'm from Tampa, I don't live there now, but I do still have lots of friends in the area. None that can take any cats right now, but I'll help in any way that I can!
Turns out the girlfriend was confused about how things were explained to her at the county shelter and just wrote it off as an option

So she surrendered them to the shelter? Also I'm so sorry for your loss.

They told her that she needed to bring them for shots and then take them home for a couple weeks and bring them back to be surrendered, she took that as "gotta pay $400 for shots and they're full, can't take them"
