Fridge died.
Managed to find one @Lowes that was available for delivery today. They called first thing and we were the first stop of the day. That's the end of the positive.
Immediately they started arguing with me about what door to bring it in.
I explained to them that both the front and back doors were the same size and that they would probably need to take the door off to make it in. "NOPE, IT AINT GONNA FIT" I assure you it will fit, it's the exact dimensions of the fridge that's in there now...
They then began complaining about everything, were super rude to me, glared at me angrily, but when they actually just did what needed 5o b2 done, the old fridge went out. This is literally their job. The whole time one man is just saying "this is some bullshit"
As soon as they're outside I can faintly hear "this guy is... " and one of the guys decided he was just going to go sulk on the truck. They then try to tell me that the door is not reversible because they don't want to spend the ten minutes moving the hinge.
I pull the plugs off the holes and show them that there's already holes in place for the door to be installed the other way and they begin to attempt it. The whole time they're complaining and OF COURSE the bolt is stripped. They say the fridge is damaged and they can't do it.
I tell them the door has to go the other way to work and they shrug and say there's nothing they can do. They eventually offer to get us a new fridge and I ask them to see if that's even a possibility, they refuse to call the store and check if there's any more in stock.
At this point I just tell them to leave and I'll sort it out with the store because they're clearly unwilling to do anything else. I currently have an unassembled fridge strewn across my kitchen and puddles of mud all over the floor because they opted not to clean up either.
Now I have to leave work early to go to the store for some kind of resolution that may or may not even happen and likely assemble a fridge myself because the "professionals" couldn't handle it.
I do not recommend @Lowes for anything.
