I don't think he understands that the post office's services/products are to fund the USPS. They're not really funded through taxes, they make their money based off of the services/products they provide. Does he think they're supposed to be profiting?!?
I honestly think he's trying to figure out which billionaire buddy to sell the USPS to, but the rest of the government needs to understand that doing away with the Post Office would only further balloon the budget

Not to mention the impact it would have on rural communities. Can you imagine the premium they'd have to pay to make delivering their mail "profitable"? USPS simply cannot be privatized...

There's dozens of legitimate reasons the postal service shouldn't be privatized, but only one that the Republicans care about: it will increase government spending. Every other side effect they see as a feature, not a bug.
