One of the things I think some folks are missing is that sideboards aren't where companions go in the CompRules, it's where they go in the tournament rules. Sideboards have no defined meaning in the Commander rules.

Quite well, in fact. And I know they have no intention of doing so.
So what does that mean for Companions? They *technically* have no place in Commander?

Companions seem dumb to build around and should just not be usable as companions. Seemingly more interesting as the commander or in the 99 and none need to get banned.
