this happened when we tried to buy http://aethergames.com . it was a shitty garys mod some freelancer made and hadnt updated in 3 years. i offered $3k and he flat no sirred me. he updated it a week later and that was the last time he used it. i hate domain squatters.
Do you ever think of a cool Twitter handle that's perfectly suited to a humourous schtick and say "someone's probably got that already" but you check anyway and see that someone nabbed it in 2013 and tweeted one fucking time about something mundane and abandoned the platform?
