I was a lot happier when I stopped doing ROI calculations on Magic event prizes (especially local & casual events). It's a game, have fun playing it.

That logic never made sense to me. If it's just a game and value doesn't matter why bother paying to play. Just staying home and playing on the kitchen table is better if that's how you see things.
