I want more Legacy as much as anyone on the planet, but misquoting the AMA to dunk on WOTC doesn’t seem like the best way to go about things. They said Legacy player numbers are the lowest, not GP attendance.

To me, SCG cutting back on Legacy is the real telling sign. They are selling cards to directly profit form the events. If they aren't making money on the format that means people are buying into it less and playing it less. No surprise that WotC followed suit.
