Remember when I said all Pro Tours (i.e. MCs) would eventually be on Arena only and ppl were like "Evan you so crazy." I continue to be very concerned for the future of paper Magic (at least in high level play).

I think the more spikey your Magic crowd is, the more likely this is true. In town our FNMs are stronger than they have been in 5+ years... but some of the competitive catering stores are struggling to even fire

It depends on the LGS. My LGS can't fire standard/draft anymore b/c Arena is so much cheaper. So they switched to Commander/Modern/Pioneer for FNM. That brought the crowd back, at least until Arena gets Modern/Pioneer.

That happened exactly in my City. There is more people in a thursday for Brawl than in standard days. And in Modern-oriented LGS, Pionner made it a Space.
