I mean, they’re selling entertainment. It shouldn’t be any surprise that being interesting is more valuable than being good.
It's a welcome alternative to rewarding the players that angle-shoot and rules-lawyer the best. I'd much rather play Magic with Danny Trejo than almost any Hall of Famer
