Really looking forward to bans in a <checks notes> two week old format that may affect a deck that I have not even fully acquired the cards for. It would be a bad start if the bar for Pioneer bans was set this low right out of the gate. Let a metagame develop and adjust first

Whether or not they should or shouldn't ban something right now, come on. You've nobody to blame but yourself if they ban part of your deck. They couldn't have been more clear about this

Pioneer looks like a lot of fun and if I was still playing constructed I'd be all over it, but I also don't think it's fair to be upset that a deck you built got blown up when they were explicitly clear about how they were going to manage the format

I haven't even gotten a deck built yet... cards are still in the mail. Two weeks is not enough time to identify & adapt to oppressive strategies
