I expect Standard to get boring after a while. That's the nature of a format with one rotation a year. Being boring and solved-ish a month after rotation is pretty surprising though. Reminds me of the rotation where Temur Energy remained the top deck (and then got banned).

Sure, we can rhetorically blame lame FNM promos and "bad formats" for attendance slumps if we want but... I've been playing / running FNM level Magic for a decade and the same thing has happened at EVERY rotation in that time: a number of regular players drop out
