I mentioned I hate insurance companies. My position is the same. Home storm damage repairs being bid out & adjuster's repair estimate is over $10K (which is likely low) but they will only pay out $116. I understand ins must challenge everything but come on. No thanks @progressive
So they claim that you only had $116 in storm damage? Or is that their share after deductible?

That's their share after 1% home value deductible and depreciation. Basically I have to pay for the repairs myself
