Look, if Sol Ring is ruining your commander games try cutting your opponent's deck instead of saying "I trust you". I bet you'll have a lot less problems with "all them turn 1 Sol Rings" that are ruining < 8% of your games.

I don't believe that turn 1 Sol Ring comes up enough that it's an oppressive force in Commander. And if it is coming up that often in other people's games, something is amiss.

I have to agree with you. Playing with my closest friends or online, Turn 1 Sol Rings are never an issue. Does it happen? Yeah. We deal with it. But playing at LGS against more competitive players, it is so weird to witness a higher rate of Turn 1 Sol Rings...
