Gotta go with @sigfig8. He recruited me to write for @QuietSpec and we eventually went over to @mtgprice together (where I was screwed out of $700)
My writing played a non-zero part in me working as an MTG buyer for much of the year between getting laid off and my current gig.https://twitter.com/zdch/status/1169287736559321088 …

I did, to the tune of tens of thousands, to the limit of what was reasonable for me to attempt given those failures pre-dated my involvement. Then we just bought the assets necessary to relaunch the brand, & the remaining debts are between old ownership & the ppl he didn't pay

You have a right to it and I will continue to back your claim but attempting to shame me into paying you money I don't owe on social media is alienating your best ally.

Not attempting to shame you into anything. We both know that you chose not to pay me when it was your responsibility so you're definitely not going to do anything differently now that it's not. Just correcting the record to show that I was paid $0 out of "tens of thousands"

Classic beef! I mean, buying the brand and whatever but not assuming the debts, is probably technically fine but is definitely shitty.
