Everyone keeps saying to ban Hogaak. Banning Hogaak will make Izzet Phoenix too good, if you ban Faithless Looting you make Tron too good, it’s a very delicate balance, and it might be better to just let the format fix itself and to just let it all play out. #bangravecrawler

Thats why Manamorphose has to be banned too. That card has never attempted to do fair things in this world.

'fix itself'? honestly, the best solution would be to light it up and just make a new modern with a smaller card pool been around for almost 10 years now, time to tear it apart imo. probably not the most popular approach though. :)

it's understandable that they don't like to ban cards they just printed. don't mind the MC being a test dummy either. but i think the format is just slowly creeping towards being too similar to legacy and just too powerful.
